This is for the contest for the first theme: "Draw your favorite crossover couple in the summer" This is only one of the pictures I had planned, because the other one might scare some people.

Anyway, in true Destiny Island tradition, Sora is sharing a Paopu fruit with Yugi. That isn't sunburn on Yugi's face, though. He's blushing because he isn't sure if he wants his destiny intertwined with Sora's or not. To me, this pairing is so cute! They're totally meant for each other; two spiky-haired heroes who love justice a little too much and fight light-haired villains while wearing bling. Not to mention that they're very nearly the same height. Basically, the only difference between these two is that Sora is very energetic, and Yugi is shy. This pairing needs a 'shipping name! Like... shortheroicguyswhowearbigblingandbelieve intheheartofsomethingshipping!

Yeah, I know the shading totally sucks. I'm an art student with a terrible hand and thus lacks skill in the use of media. I should be pitying myself. I touched this up in PhotoShop and stuff, to rid of smudges, and I totally forgot about Yugi's Millennium Puzzle, so I kind of rushed to get it in there at the last minute. But, for the first time in any of my pictures, the perspective in this one turned out... okay. But, a little lopsided, as I only used a ruler. I realize that the background isn't accurate, but that's because I haven't played Kingdom Hearts in a long time (someone has my memory card ). So, I kind of improvised. I added a shack, and a made-up plant that kinda looks like a tropical plant, and a couple of palm trees, to make it more like an "island" setting rather than just a "beach" setting. You get me?
